Sturdy, attractive condition; refinished. The leather top is probably original but the gold painted motif at the center of the top is later; dates to late 20th century. Some areas of lifting or bent brass inlay. Drawer liners have been rebuilt. One side with veneer cracks; one small section of lost molded veneer at the back edge. Probably dates to first half of 20th century, not 19th as originally catalogued. Possibly incorporates 19th century elements.
